Such a thing is not new in the gaming world. I recall back when I took car trips with my GameCube and Playstation, each having a small TV mounted on it and could be plugged in the cigarette lighter port in a car. However, with the GamePad, the Wii U being car playable is much more unique.
MaxBuy have released an accessory for the Wii U called MaxPlay, which allows you to plug your Wii U into the cigarette lighter port of your car, and use your GamePad as the screen. Of course, this means that whatever game you play must support off-screen play. Also, a USB charging cable is included so you can keep your GamePad charged on the go.
There’s something nostalgic about this for me, but as an adult who does the driving, I won’t get the opportunity to fully appreciate it, but will you be picking this up?
