Will Nintendo fail to get enough people to buy the Wii U like they are going through right now with the 3ds?

Hey there Jim,
Welcome to the Wii U Forums.

I honestly can't tell if the Wii U is a flop or not.
We haven't received many details about how far along the system has come in terms of development. All we know is:
- A lot of developers have been jumping on board, or are really keen to make games for it.
- A lot of cool games from third parties are getting on it e.g. Metro Last Light, Arkham City, Darksiders 2, and probably Battlefield 3.
- EA is helping with the online system. I'd consider that a plus, but Steam users might call it a minus.

Hello Jim! Great to see you join this forum and I hope you have a wonderful time here.

Well...I totally blame the friggin economy for the lack of 3DS purchase. As much as I want a 3DS, I do not have enough money...though I honestly don't know the real reason for the lack of sale. I think the sale will grow over the holiday though. Who knows...Wii U may have a similar situation, but I'll save that for another topic. xD

As for your question, if Nintendo have learnt from the launch of the 3DS, I don't see any reason why the Wii U should fail.
