Silly Nintendo Direct, you’re red, not blue.
Nintendo revealed a few new features to come to the Wii U via the Spring Update on the Nintendo 3DS themed Nintendo Direct today. We also got a bit more information on New Super Luigi U and Pikmin 3 coming to the Wii U.

We’ve got more information on the super Spring Update coming to the Wii U next week, with features including:
- Improves loading times
- Copy data between two USB drives
- Install software while playing games
- Automatically receive updates
- Press B button during start up to go to Wii Menu
- Continue to download and install after system is OFF
- Virtual Console will be available next week
- VC can be played off-tv and each will have its own Miiverse community
- Gameboy Advance and N64 games will be coming
- Wii U Panorama View available as free demo next week
- Each Panorama will be available for $2
New Super Luigi U had some features revealed, such as confirmation that all 82 levels have been changed or altered and will only allow 100 seconds on the timer to complete each level. Luigi had better move fast. Also, we have confirmation that Pikmin 3 will be released on the Wii U on August 4th.
