Last week, a new Pokemon was revealed during Pokemon Smash, and some speculated it was an entirely new pokemon while others said it was a new Mewtwo form. It was already confirmed by Nintendo a few days ago to be a new form, but just to be sure, Nintendo released the above video to erase all doubts that it is only a new Mewtwo form.
