I think scince the wiiUs aren't selling well and I have heard rumors that they will be lowering the prices for it.  Tell me if I am right or not.

i dont know if you are correct or not, but i do know a rpice drop isnt going to help muych, the wii u needs games, not a lower price point, sure it would help, but the lack of games is hurting it the most, not the price

Wrong, Nintendo already stated the price drop would do nothing. It's all about bringing out high class games

As Penguin101 said Nintendo already said that prices won`t be coming down. Iwata said it and also someone else at Nintendo Europe.

And if you look at the upcoming games, there`s little reason to do it.

The only reason to do it would be if the next gen Xbox was within the £$350 £$400 (to buy - £$200 - £$250 subscription) range for a base unit (no backwards compatibility, smaller HDD) due to the small money to large power ratio difference. Then Nintendo may want to consider cutting the price down by £$100

Far too early to do a price drop, especially with some blockbuster games coming out this year. It's the Summer of Wii U.

IMO after E3 2013 we're just getting a taste of awesome with the usual Smash Bros, Mario Kart etc - great games, but predictable and formulaic.  2014 should be the we'll be getting the really awesome curveball games (Retro IP for one)!

THE THING DON'T NEED A PRICE DROP, IT'S PRICED FAIRLY, WHICH I CERTAINLY DON'T THINK THE NEXTBOX AND PS4 WILL BE.

So....we needed a whole other topic about potentially dropping the price because why? TC, what are you bringing to this subject that warranted a whole new topic?

the reason the Wii U has no games is because Nintendo feels the need to delay every single horsing game 5 times :/

To be fair, it's better for them to take their time and finish a game, rather than throw out an unfinished game just to make some arbitrary deadline. First party titles are the reason people buy Nintendo systems, if those start to slide then where do you think they'll end up?
