With most of the gaming industry still believing the Wii U is weaker than the PS4(which it is, but not as much as people think) come E3 with the main focus being on the PS4 and Nextbox, Nintendo im hoping off a graphically good looking game to prove to all the doomsayers and analysis how powerful the Wii U really is,

 

We know Retro Studio's unannounced game could possibly match the graphics of Killzone 4

 

And Platinum Games who stated that they were going to...

 

"push the Wii U to it's limits with Bayonetta 2"

 

 then there's Monolith Soft's X which while looks good, may look even better in the final game also Monolith stated:

 

“I’d like to make an HD game that will wow the players. I want to show that Japan can still keep up with the USA when it comes next gen technology. Our goal is to become something like the developers of the Fallout series, Bethesda Softworks.”

 

“I believe that today’s Japanese gaming industry has lost its touch, and we’d like to do something to change that.”

 

plus there's also Climax who will most likely be the ones giving us the first proper Wii U to PS4 comparison.

Climax, because they're making the first next gen only game with Wii U included, or Retro I hope to god the visuals are next gen with full tessellation  lovely lighting, shaders, explosion and particle effects and vast level design, along with excellent use of the gamepad, so much so that you wonder how you'll ever be able to play a first or third person game without it ever again.

They made Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Silent Hill Origins, Serious Sam: The Next Encounter, and developed the Playstation version of Diablo.

 

Unfortunately 88% of their games are crappy  However this is a screen from the game: 

 

It looks lovely hope this is in game and not a bullshot

till retro proves their talking, I have more faith in Monolith. I can't speak about platinum, because I am not crazy about bayoneta style of games. (eg. devil may cry, etc)..I dont like their style much..

 

ps: And I do wish retro, to give us a less clistophobic game (I dont know the definition in english) games in small space... I dont like labyrinths and all metal...

 

They could give a killzone style of trilogy game... with samus, before it ends up being a kind of robot girl... In her planet, before they all started... More story based and action fps game... less than classic metroid. And I LOOOOOOOOOVE character modification and creation... I want to make my own samus!!! And be able to migrate her in the other games also in the near or far feature.. (like mass effect did).

Currently these two games haven't even got names yet.

 

But they have confirmed they are “developing on PS4, Wii U and other new consoles" so it seems likely that yes these games are running on Wii U, and being treated as next gen like it should.

Retro, they like graphics (aka all games they have made). So am guessing they will love graphics again in this game. Platinum games bayonetta 2 looks really good graphic wise (with there screenshots) and Monolith looks good, gah can't choose, You can't make me choose!!!

platinum have made hd games before, the others have not.

I think it will be a close call. If any wins it won`t be a by a big difference.
Retro will probably make the best looking game, mainly because X will be more of an open world game and will take a lot of resources.

You do realise routerbad or 3Dude is about to school you? Not to say I will as I don't have the technical knowledge to argue a 100% watertight counterpoint. But next gen engines do work with the Wii U

Eh, no one really knows for sure yet I suppose, since the other consoles haven't even come out yet. Although if PS4 and 720 don't have better looking games, I will be genuinnely surprised.

Still, PC is still winning in that department.

I also couldn't care less if I was "schooled" by them. xD

What games have Climax done before? Any idea?

If Bayoneta 2 is bigger - as they put it - it will be visually impressive, but i don`t think it is meant to be as wide as X.
