You do realize Rob had no game at all, it was just some toy that made noises and moved....

I made an idea for a Super R.O.B peripheral a while ago that was meant for the Wii system, but the Wii U seems much more suited for the peripheral. I even sent my idea to Nintendo Power and they put it in the Pulse section. The link I posted leads to my concept statement to the Super R.O.B. I might also make a new one designed for Wii U.

Oh great... well now I feel stupidR.O.B. wasn't a game... He was something that was stuck on top of the NES to make it more Toy-like....
...
...Let's just say the industry was opposite what it is today.
Still... they put him in brawl. So... shouldn't he at least get a game?

He was also in Port Town Aero Dive in F- Zero GX, you could see ROB, he was huge.He was referenced in a recurring character in Starfox 64, if that counts
He is also in the SSBB stage of Aero Drive.

The original R.O.B (Robotic Operating Buddy) was packaged with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985 to disguise it as a toy. Video games weren’t selling very well because of the video game crash of 1983. The R.O.B interacted with the TV via lights on the screen and came with a gyro set. It had movable arms and made a recent appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl in 2008. With all of the Wii peripherals coming out recently, I think that a Super R.O.B would be very much welcome to the family.
The Super R.O.B replaces the original grey and red colors of the R.O.B with white and blue colors to match the Wii system. It would be sold bundled with a Wii Shop Channel gift code to unlock the Super R.O.B Channel, similar to the Wii Speak Channel’s code. Different modes of play are available on the S.R.O.B Channel including a FPS shooting game, a mood reader, dance mode and more. In the FPS, the player uses the Wii Remote to control Super R.O.B on screen, while the real S.R.O.B moves in accordance with the virtual one. When moving, it leans in the direction of choice. When firing, it’s eyes flash red and blast sounds are emitted. The in-game R.O.B shoots at various Nintendo enemies like Koopa Troopas, Metroids and Octoroks.
For the mood reader, Super R.O.B’s head is displayed on screen with a color changing background. To change his mood, you must say certain phrases to him. Things like “I love you” and “You’re so awesome” make R.O.B dance around, the screen turns blue, and happy music plays. Things like “I hate you” and “You’re a waste of space,” along with hitting the actual Super R.O.B, make it sulk, the screen turns black, and dull music plays. Screaming at the Super R.O.B makes it angry, causing it to wave its arms around, the screen turning red and frantic music to play. To calm Super R.O.B down, you must stroke the blue area on the top of his head. He then becomes calm, or neutral with a yellow background.
In the dance mode, the player chooses different remixed Nintendo tunes on screen, and the Super R.O.B dances along to it. It has a different dance for every song, and even sings along to a few of them in comical voices. An example is the Super Mario Bros. theme, where he swings his arms from side to side, then takes on step and then again while making NES sound effects. Music can be imported from an SD Card for Super R.O.B to dance to, with a different eye color for each genre of music.
Examples-------------------
Pop/Hip-Hop/Alternative (Classic Blue)
Rock/Heavy Metal (Red)
Rap (Gold)
Classical (Black)

R.O.B. has appeared as a cameo character in various video games, such as Kirby's Dream Land 3, the WarioWare series, the Star Fox series, the F-Zero series, StarTropics, Viewtiful Joe and his head appears in Pikmin 2, called the 'Remembered Old Buddy'. R.O.B. is also featured as an unlockable character in Mario Kart DS and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
It shows that Nintendo have missed him.

I guess all they thought of him was really a background character (regardless of MKDS and SSBB)There were only two NES games that R.O.B. was compatible with. Gyromite and Stack-Up. Though Gyromite had a catchy music that I remember. But Stack-Up is one of THE worst game ever.

I've seen it. It's epic, and a well made video. R.O.B. is so slow when picking up / putting down the gyrosSpeaking of R.O.B, any one here see the Angry Video Game Nerds 100th episode? It contains the perfect idea for a R.O.B. game. Giant R.O.B. battles!

Kirby is the easiest. They can just spam grabs and the boulder attack. If they're bored they'll also try to commit suicide against you with him...Are you saying he IS the easiest, or ONE OF the Easiest?
Because everyone knows Pit is the easiest.

I don't know if ROB should have a game, yes, it'd be awesome, but it takes away from his magic as he is special...
