Pokemon is by far my most played series. I have placed 1500+ hours between all the games since Gold & Silver. I'm also a Shiny Hunter with 10+ shinies(can't remember the exact number) that I have caught myself. I have also lost 2 shinies . If you have question about my Pokemon fanboyism just as my

Nintendo seriously needs to get rid of Ash. He's gone downhill with each new season that comes out in the show.

I haven't played Pokemon since Diamond. I still want to get Black version though.

I LOVE ALL OF THE POKEMON GENS, seriously I do, I love Pokemon to bits, I'm uber excited for X and Y and Gen VI Pokemon, I'm currently playing Pokemon Black 2, I just finished Black, my Black 2 team is: Lv 16 Pikachu, Lv 16 Oshawott, Lv 16 Tepig, Lv 16 Snivy, Lv 16 Lucario, Lv 16 Tailow. I know it's completley cliche but Pikachu is my fave Pokemon hence my profile pic I love them I've just started reading Pokemon Adventures Manga thank's to a recomendation from VGCrasher, on the Anime front, I'm secure with myself and what I watch but to me the anime is cringeworthy, It needs to mature just a tiny bit and Ash needs to do one, in my personal opinion, I will not watch until that day comes, sorry!

Oh yeah, looks like he did. I stopped watching after the Kanto region.

The anime was good up untill the end of Sinnoh(Ash even came close to being Red at that point) then things went downhill fast with Best Wishes/Black & White, Anyways im planning to get both Pokemon X and Y so Gen VI will be my first gen where i get all the versions.

Oh yeah, looks like he did. I stopped watching after the Kanto region. 

And he beat the Battle Frontier. js. 

 

Pokemon Games are so so. I love playing them for a while, I mean I love pokemon, and exploring. But I'm never one to complete the games, train train train, shiny. I feel like Emerald / Hoenn games were pretty good, kept buying copies because I lost them. Emerald was the only one I beat. Best Battle Frontier in the series.

 

So what does everyone think of Generation 6? or vs. The lost Hoenn remakes.

I personally don't want Hoenn remakes because I simply loved those games too much to want to see them get completely redone with all those pokemon fitting into new areas of the region and stuff. The game was PERFECT as it was. That was the last pokemon game that didn't feel like it was too big. I enjoyed games after that, but the size of Emerald was just right. I would rather see an eshop release with connectivity features with the current gen games

Ash just needs to learn to NOT FORGET EVERYTHING, 

never played gen 3, so probably my least favorite out them all

have 3 shinies , but the first shiny i ever found was a blue psyduck in safari park, threw food at it and it ran

Hated black 2 white 2, bearly Anything happened with you and the team the entire time i played it, it was just "ooh bad guy over there, lets follow him" "oh bad guy stole pet, lets get him" no attacking secret base or anything Until after the 7th gym where it got exciting, but before that i was bored :s

I liked Gen 3 the best!! Loved the world and the Pokemon. Gen 4 was my least favorite, disliked the world and the Pokemon. I stopped watching the anime 8 years ago, not because I thought it is kiddy( well maybe a little..) but because I don't have time to watch tv... Ever... Except the office.

honestly, i dont hate gen 5 like most people because its "different" i dislike it though because the animated sprites look poorly done, if i look at the pokedex app on my 3ds, or looks at pokepark to, i think they look great, i only have a problem with there name which isnt that big of a deal, so i assume, gen 6 will make me like the pokemon because i wont be looking at bad animations, i also dislike gen 3 because of all the surfing, so i dont hate it because (almost) everyone around me loves it, or if it is again, different, idk, what are your thoughts on this? do you guys agree with what im saying, or do you think im using poor arguments

Gen 4 imo was one of the best.

Sinnoh along with Hoenn are my favorites regions, compared to Kanto, Johto and Unova which were linear, both regions were complexed and actually forced you to check the map just to know where to go next. Diamond and Pearl may of had their flaws but Platinum fixed all of those issues, most of my favorite pokemon are from Gen 4, Empoleon is the only water starter in the series that i liked (a Water/Steel type nuff said) Weavile is my favorite Dark type, Froslass and Mismagius are my favorite ghost types, Roserade is my favorite grass type, Lucario is one of my favorite fighter types and Garchomp is my favorite pseudo-legendary pokémon.


Gen 4 also caused the physical/special split which contribute to today's metagame of Pokemon.

Also Gold & Silver remakes <3

RIGHT! I gave up on the show when he let his charzard go. Butterfree was strike one, Pidegot was strike 2, but charzard........good bye ash.

Um...You are aware Ash never released Charzard right? he just left him to train, Ash brought back his Charzard several times first in Johto, then during The Battle Frontier, then The Sinnoh League in fact  Charizard is currently in Ash's team right now.

Um...You are aware Ash never released Charzard right? he just left him to train, Ash brought back his Charzard several times first in Johto, then during The Battle Frontier, then The Sinnoh League in fact  Charizard is currently in Ash's team right now.
