need your help is posible to conect the wii u to a monitor whit DVI-D (HDCP) , cuz i got a problem and i didnt complete the amount of the hdmi monitor. using this to make it HDMI. LIke PS3 and xbox 360. i know that the audio will be the problem but the image will work? i wont have any problem?

Audio isn't transferred over DVI, the solution would cost you a few hundred dollars.

What i did at first when i only had a dvi option, was the typical hdmi to dvi adapter, for the audio i just used a male/male/ audio cable and plugged one end into gamepad and the other end into tv/surround sound. Worked like a charm.

What monitor did you use? Have HDCP?

HDMI is backward compatible with DVI for video. For sound, you could possibly try also using the composite cables for it's stereo audio jacks? That's what I did with my bluray player (hdmi->DVI for video, RCA for audio), but I don't know if it'll work on the Wii U.

As i stated above, all you need for the audio is an audio cable with a male connector on both ends (easilly found at any electronics store and cheap) plug one end into the gamepad, the other end into the audio input of whatever sound device your using. I know this bc i was in the same exact boat you were in before i replaced my monitor. Shouldnt cost more than 20 bucks for the DVI to hdmi adapter you have pictured above, and the male/male audio cable. When you use the headphone jack on the gamepad, all sound is output to the sound source whether it be headphones or the speakers you have the cable plugged into. If your confused on the audio cable im talking about then refer to the image link below.....

I don't know about OP but my gamepad is ten feet away from my TV. I wouldn't want a cable stretching all the way. my dog would get tangled up in it.
