I don`t think who wrote this understood what Nintendo did. They gave a tool that made easy to port games, not a tool to make games that, then, they will be able to port to Wii U.

Actually, it's an Intel software tool, not something Nintendo themselves offer.
This article is confused by all the GDC articles.

Buy virtual console game on wii U, play the game, continue where you left off on smartphone.
Now that's an idea.

I think it's a pretty smart idea as long as they are still $1/£1 not $5/£5 there are some pretty cool Android games I have to admit.
