So, I know off TV gameplay is a great feature but I've just read something on another forum that sounded pretty cool. I haven't had a chance to try this, so if anyone can confirm this or give it a test, please post back with the results.

Basically, the user was saying that they were watching hockey on their tv but wanted to play Injustice, so they had the game running on the gamepad and were using the pro controller to control the game, which is pretty cool especially if you prefer a more standard controller for gaming (especially a fighting game) instead of using the gamepad controls.

So in essence, they were using the gamepad just for the screen and the pro controller as the main controller.

Below is a quote that I read from a user on another site.

Turned it on grabbed my pro controller and what do you know I'm playing the game using that and the tablet controller is my display.
Kind of cool when the TV screen is busy I just put the tablet in the stand and sitting in the couch playing away between intermission.

Pretty much all the games allow that.

That's pretty cool, i had no idea as I didn't bother to try. Would actually work well for me as I can take the gamepad into my office (wii u is in in living room) . I'd prefer mashing buttons on my pro controller then the gamepad

Yeah, you can use the Pro Controller while using the Gamepad for a TV. The only games that won't are those incompatible with the Pro Controller, such as LEGO City Undercover, Arkham City or Zombiu, the only other exception that I know of being New Super Mario Bros. U.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON
