Sonic: Lost Worlds confirmed at the Nintendo Direct! More info closer to e3. Discuss, and is some1 got the screenshot of it please share it

Kinda looks like a giant planet where each hexagon is 1 level, but the planet is kinda broken.

When I saw that planet I instantly thought Mario Galaxy style, I'm probably wrong though

Pretty sure he mentioned exclusive to WiiU and 3DS, as well as a worldwide partnership.

Yeah I got in the middle of the direct so didn't cath that part but read it later on IGN, I'm kinda exited for Sonic as he have been redeeming himself lately with Colors and Generation.

Did they show gameplay or a screen shot? I missed it, I only saw Wonderful 101 release date.

Why are people so surprised that its a exclusive game? Sonic loves Nintendo, Sonic and the secret rings, sonic and the black knight, sonic colours. No idea why people are so shocked about it

I know it`s just one screenshot but i liked it already.

Might just be my first home console Sonic since Sonic Adventure 2 for GC - yeah, it`s been that long!

 

Also liked how more Sonic games are coming just for Wii U!

It's that Nintendo entered into an exclusive partnership with Sega to produce a trilogy of Sonic games. Nintendo working on an actual Sonic game is just too good to be true.

Considering that they only have to focus on one platform and don't have to focus on porting the game over, I'd say it's slightly likely.

The biggest tool Nintendo has is the ability to cut royalty fees for third parties.  Third parties typically pay $15 per $60 game sold to the console manufacture, Nintendo could either give them a discount or waive the fee altogether.  This can nearly double the profit per copy sold, and when the development is limited to one console the development cost are less.  Its also possible that Nintendo is just flat out funding the development of these games, and will end up being the publisher for them.

They are publishing the game for EU and AU, but not NA.
