If I had any anime turned into a movie i'd pick Elfen Lied,Mostly because with an all asian cast, and actual murder scenes it would turn out great.

If we're talking about live-action adaptations then none. Hollywood hasn't been doing very well with live-action adaptations of American cartoons, which leaves doubt if they should touch anime. There are talks of a live-action adaptation of Akira and they're picking Caucasian actors like Robert Pattinson or Zac Efron into the movie.

Maybe you're getting confused with the Hollywood movie of Death Note they're making? There's a kira in that! *Budum ching*
Anyway, everybody knows that Zac Efron IS Kira, so there will be much rage if he doesn't play Light Yagami

Personally I'd like to see a live-action xxxHoLiC or Clannad; both of which would be easy to film and appeal to wide audiences... The problem I see is that if they cut it too short and ruin the pacing... T.T

I'm not sure if Anime would be good as a movie.

For certain animes, it's the length that makes them somewhat special as with each episode you get more and more attached to the characters of an anime. I'm not sure if 1.5-2 hours would be enough to achieve that...

Hmmmmmmm....

I guess I want Angel Beats as a movie.
It has a lot of mushy moments, and then some hardcore "KILL IT" scenes.

Hopefully, the ending will be reworked to be less... crap. That was the main criticism with it.

My mind ran straight to Deltora quest when I saw this, however, I think I'd rather them get based off the books, and in live-action instead of animation, but with that said, it would still make a great movie, anime or not.
