I was shocked this was not in the nintendo direct. But I finally found some footage!

I am going to get it. The reason it wasn't in the e3 direct is because it was announced a bit earlier in another direct. They had a jammed packed e3 direct so this probably will get more news in the coming months.

 

It looks brilliant, there are some high def screens I looked at in a promo for the game and everything is colorful and the character models are spot on.

 

That gameplay is rocking, the one guy mentions it's mario kart esque.. in the sense that you have the item boxes which changes from skis, bobsled, snow board etc.. COOL!

Yeah i saw the one where it was announced but so was Sonic lost world. I thought this would be shown under the "third party" stuff when they showed lost world.

 

I agree that race looks fun. The models + eviroments in HD look more detailed. I like it. I hope they do a HD summer one next olympics lol

Reason it's not shown as third party (Olympic games) is Nintendo is also one of the publishers. I think Sega has a team who develops the game and also publishes it in EU and NA. Nintendo publishes it in Japan.

Ah, ty. I live in uk I just assumed sega published everywhere

 

 

But what is everyone's hopes for this game?

 

Mine are :

 

1 ) return of circuit mode instead of luck basked one in london.

 

2) Unlock rival's like rogue as playable characters

 

3) Online

 

4) use gamepad to draw our own logos ect...

I'm definitely getting this- Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong and probably one more of X, Zelda, Bayonetta.....

The thing for me is, the trailers for the Mario & Sonic games always look pretty good. But then once I play them, I find them rather disappointing. So I'll wait and see how this one turns out.
