IGN
I am now convinced that EA is no longer butthurt.
More like they are realizing they need to keep all options open. I'm glad that they have come around.
In an attempt to not be a troll I get that its good for us to have developers...I guess? But for me personally I really don't care if EA stops developing for Wii U entirely. I can't remember the last game they made I liked. They are a first tier company that releases like a shovelware knockoff brand - only vaguely different versions of the exact same game year after year, none of their franchises look appealing to me. Pass.
I want EA to make games for Wii U just so I can have Star Wars games.
All this tells me is disney has told them to make it work. The star wars games that's coming out you betta believe is disney is funding they will make sure they are on Nintendo console. Disney went to EA and said make it work because those games won't be skipping Wii U. That's all I see this as.
I agree. I think that's a big reason for EA back tracking statements.
Kingdom Hearts - a game that would actually sell EXTREMELY well on the Wii U? This has nothing to do with Disney.
Well, although Disney has say in that game and series, Square might have reasons not to bring the game to Wii U that we don't know. However, EA boldly saying they aren't developing any games for Wii U, then turn right around and say the exact opposite is either bad PR or Disney stepping in and saying, "Um, I thought that contract said all platforms?" Both are possible at this point.
