 I'm currently sitting 220 coins away from platinum status for the year and am planning on getting Lego City Undercover in the near future that would give me +50 coins, I could download Yoshi's Island for 30¢

 giving me another +10 coins, I'm on the fence about Luigi U which would be another +40 coins leaving me at 120 coins remaining.

 

 Has anyone heard any rumours of the rewards for gold/platinum this year?  If it were you would you make the push to platinum status?  I'd probably buy some Wii games if I was to go for it sadly it seems there's no way I'd be able to find a new Xenoblade with the #pin which would be the #1 game I'd want.

Lego City Undercover is one of the best, if not THE best, game out for the Wii U. Hands down. It's GTA style fun, with an actual story line and great game play mechanics. I also got Yoshi's Island and Luigi U but haven't had time to play them yet.

 

Here's my current status:

"2013 Elite Status: Platinum (1780 coins)"

 

As for what the rewards will be, they haven't announced it yet. Typically its early July when they let us all know what we'll be getting. I have a feeling it will be something Luigi related. I just really hope its not a luigi hat like others are speculating.

I really hope the platinum reward this year is actually something worth, well, anything. The past couple of years the reward has been pretty underwhelming.

Urggg, don't talk to me about Club Nintendo, I'm sitting on so many stars/coins with nothing to spend them on, I'm seeing opening my account in the first place as an absolute waste of time.

 Yeah, I'm getting the vibe I should just save my money. My OCD will give me a tough time for the next week but I think I'll make it. 

 

 I'm stoked to see the new list of items that will be available to purchase.  Hopefully they're worth it for you two BSC/Goku seems you both have a huge hoard of coins.

The Platinum rewards will likely be a pencil case and some bookmarks (and some shoe laces thrown in) lol

Maybe a little Luigi keychain (you know you're going to wear)

Green washrag in celebration of Luigi

Green coin pouch (which could only fit three quarters)

Tooth Brush with some Floss will be your Platinum/ Gold reward
