How do i play wii u games on the tv only or on game pad only?

It's different for each game, also some game don't support the feature.

What game are you talking about?

I don't think it's possible to play TV only but most games will allow off-TV gameplay, either by selecting the off-TV mode on the settings or just turning off the TV

Mario Bros. shows the game on both the gamepad and tv at the same time. So there is no option to turn the gamepad screen off while playing on the TV.

But you can use the Pro Controller or the Wii-Remote instead if the Game Pad is too inconvenient to hold.

True, I much preferred the pro controller as opposed to the Wiimote for the original Wii.

Game depended. The wii u game pad is a big part of alot of games. It's the main controller.

Now a few games to spport the game controller and allows you to play on the tv with a controller like the ps3 or x360

Bt as said it is game depended. It should be written on th e back of the case of the games.

Bt off the top of my head.

Ac3, cod bo2, super Mario, pikmin 3 (with wii mote controls don't know about game controller), dark sliders

Pikmin 3 supports pro controller and wii mote.
