I love the hell out of Earthbound since that Nintendo Direct Mini, I I'm happy that I got another chance to play it again and actually beating it. But then I heard a lot of people that were dissatisfied about it being a port, like it would sell more Wii U's if it was a full fledged HD remake, like Strider HD that was announced at Comic-con. I thought about it and it would be really great if it was a remake, that would sell alot of Wii U units if that was the case. But whatever I'm happy that I actually own it instead of paying thousands of dollars for the cartridge.

I think with them putting the game on VC, a HD remake is definitely out of question in the foreseeable future.

I'd like to see a trilogy collection with Mother, EarthBound, and Mother 3 HD remakes. I doubt that would happen though...

Stop already with these remakes, Wii U needs entirely new games to attract new customers.
