I remember Iwata said something about recording for a few seconds in Miiverse in a direct or something, can't remember, but no that is a far fetched thing to think about.

Their new encoding requirements allow for html5 stream-watching on the wii u's browser.
No streaming though, maybe they'll get a web framework or devkit at some stage but i doubt it, nintendo isn't actively pursuing them i bet.

Yeah, I'm thankful Twitch can finally be streamed through the Wii U web browser, now I can catch the streams I like to watch even when I'm not on the computer.
