What have people been spending their Nintendo Club Stars on?

Hello All,

 

I have had my Wii U console for about two weeks now and I am really enjoying it. 4 player Mario and Nintendoland have really stood out to my group! :D

 

Today I have started scratching off the PIN# panels on the leaflets I got from purchased games. I have had a look at the Stars Catalogue and there are some interesting things but I would rather have more content to play.

 

 

Have people been trading the stars for Nintendo point cards? I see that they cannot be used on the Wii U virtual console games so can I purchase some Wii VC games and then launch them from the Wii icon on the home screen?

I am not buying anything because the EU store sucks.

If they actually updated the cards it could be used on wii u and 3ds, I would have went for that.  Until that unlikely day happens, my stars will continue to rise and eventually expire.

I've gotten a couple games, but there's nothing too interesting so I got like four of the white wii remote holders.

Couldn't agree more, something should be done about the Europe store. The only thing I ordered from there was a gold Wii Wheel (and I got the Ocarina of Time CD for free when I bought the game for the Nintendo 3DS.)

America used to be jealous of our pitiful rewards. Now we have Wii all and they have games for christ sake...

All the rewards I used to be interested in have been removed.

They're all good.

I'd get one that's out on the wii u too though, and get that for the special offer price just for the ease of not having to go into the wii menu to play it.

When I ordered mine i thought it was in stock... didn't receive anything for 3 weeks so i logged in and checked. It said it was back ordered too, but about a week later it was shipped. so hope it comes soon!

Yea me too. I order it and it said it was in stock and i was hoping to have it by Sep 10th but thats probably not going to happen but its cool. When it comes it comes.

So far, i have only used the stars to buy point cards. Only some things there are appealing.
If you could get games, it would be great!

It has just arrived. Looks cool. But I think the batteries are dead as it doesn't make a noise. Will buy some replacements and see how it goes. Looks good with the rest of my junk though.

I got the pikmin tote bag because i live in NA and then won the pikmin keyring on nintendo-sushi.com so I'm living the best of both worlds.
