"Our one and only goal once we got the Wii U hardware was to get Darksiders II running on it. We didn't even have running the game on the touch screen on our 'to do' list. but once we got it running, we just fooled around with getting it on the touch screen as a lark. It took all of five minutes and two lines of code, and boom! - there was the entire game running on the controller. Amazing."

I don't remember Virgil Games specifically talking about the controller. I only remembered them saying they got the game working on the general hardware in five weeks.

Well they said in the old article they could examine loot on it not running the game on the controller. I would also like to add that they did that with in 5 minutes with two lines of code.

Weird... I'm almost certain that I remember them saying something JUST like that...

...Actually, it could have been someone quoting a video. Not sure, but I HAVE heard that they got the game to work on the controller with only 2 lines of code.
