Some very good points above.

PS3 has a very good list of games to play.

PS3 is cheap second hand.

PS4 will have only a few gamed in its first year.

Play the PS3 backlog of cheap used games for a couple of years then buy the PS4,job done.

Must agree with the to many games if you own multiple platforms,ya get a backlog which in reality will never go down due to more new games.....

Honestly you should just pick up a XboxOne and Peggle 2. This game is so amazing, it lets you shoot a ball at the side of the wall. The graphics are so better than X and Mario Kart 8 put together that Microsoft had to release it in early just so the other companies can catch up in terms of game play and graphics. Just thought I should tell you I bought the PS3. It comes with a 160gb hard drive, both Ratchet and Clank games, a Sly Cooper game, three sonic games, and three controllers. And a few other things.
