I just bring it up cuz Watch Dogs was just delayed. I've tended to see delays as good things because it's when they work out bugs and whatnot. Wanted to get an impression from yalllz on the issue of delays. Good or bad? Or are you indifferent?

If the delay was to make the game more polished and to have better sales (running against another AAA game at the same time, I mean) then it's all good.

Exactly what I was going to post. Delays aren't always fun, but if it's to make the game better, then sure.A delayed game is eventually good. A bad game is bad forever. ~Shegiru Miyamoto

Delays can be a good thing. I can't think of any instances where it happened, but the only time a delay would be a bad thing is if the development was in a state of recovery, where major code is missing or data is lost, and the developer won't come openly forth about it.
Some may argue that a delay is bad during a drought, but hey, it's not like a store doesn't have over 100 games you haven't played, right?

Its bad for PS4/Xbox One, as this was the only game I really wanted on PS4.
However I suspect the delay is because they have bitten off more than they can chew. This game was releasing on pretty much everything, no easy task, so a delay could be good if it ensures all versions run well at launch.
I just hope they didn't delay it to avoid launching the same time as Assassins Creed 4 though as I'm not bothered about that game, still have the previous games in the series to play.

Pretty much every delay is good, but the Rayman Legends delay wasn't cool.

That may be true, but what Sucked as the fact it was ready for the Wii U but we had to wait months to get it for no good reason.

I don't think delays are ever really good because that means a company put a release date on something and didn't deliver. So from that point of view, it's never really a good thing on the surface. But like others have stated, I'd much rather play a great game after a delay than a bug-filled game that should've been delayed.
With Super Mario 3D World shaping up to be fantastic, the DKC:TF and Watch Dogs delays actually work out pretty well for Nintendo's 2014 hopes. The year is going to get started off great with those two games early on.
