I don't have either, but I'll pick up Disney Infinity for sure if I get one in the near future. I have a couple kiddos, and the recognition of the characters in Infinity is the key. I've heard great things about both games though, so I'm sure you can't go wrong either way.

Oh okay, I hear you can build stuff with infinity which sounds epic, but sounds like skylanders has more epic PvP action.
yeah, disney infinity has the toy box (but it's not really that epic imo, i thought it would be more like minecraft then it actully is)
i wouldn't buy skylanders for the pvp, it's pretty bad (also imo) but the game itself is a hack & slash type, and i love those games (like diablo and torchlight) and disney infinity is not.

I'd say Skylanders is better. Disney Infinity's campaign levels (AKA Playsets) are okay, they're all pretty much the same in concept. Do some fetch quest missions, buy some items, rinse and repeat. But they're still fun, and progressing through them unlocks stuff for the Toy Box mode. Which I had a lot of fun with. But to get everything in the Toy Box, you need to buy literally every single figure. As there's chests with Toy Box items in the Playsets and your Toy Box stages that can only be unlocked with a certain character.
Skylanders isn't as straining on the wallet (you only need like 8 more figures to get everything. Unless you want those in game achievements that boost your "Portal Master Rank".) and I'd say the gameplay is better. I find the platformer/beat em dungeon crawler gameplay to be really fun and addicting. Swap Force in question has a ton of content, even if you just have the figures from the Starter Pack. So I'd go with Skylanders, Disney Infinity is still a good game though. I think both of them are on sale on Black Friday at GameStop (probably at other stores too).
