I have the WWHD deluxe bundle, 32 gb hdd.  I know that 32 is not the actual amount of space that can be used because of OS, etc.  I need 15 gb to download RE: Revelations.  The only games on my HDD are WWHD (1.7 gb) and Tank! Tank! Tank! (1.5 gb).  Hyrule Historia takes up 0.3 gb.  Everything else on the system is save game files and small apps like Netflix and Hulu.

The problem is I only have 8.6 gigs free.  What's up with that??  All of those games added up are only 3.5 gb.  Even if only 25gb of the original 32gb were available, that would be 21.5 gb free.  Is ~13 gb really being taken up by the OS updates????

Have you checked their sizes in the data manager?

The OS does take up space, but it takes up space in the partitions that are already sectioned off for system use.

Yeah I've counted up everything that appears in my data manager and it doesn't seem to be more than 4gb

That's what I was thinking

Then I'll have to look in data manager again but unless I made some kind of mistake when looking at the data last time (certainly possible) I have no idea where all that hdd space is being used
