Listings, rumored release dates, and certain Nintendo developers with undisclosed projects got me wondering about Wii U's 2014 lineup and what I'd like to see. I'm not going to mention third party multi-plats such as Watch Dogs or Child of Light, just Nintendo exclusives. Let me know what you guys hope comes out. This is also a response to ActiveGamerLife

January:

Blank month for me. People should still be busy with Super Mario 3D World and Wii Fit U.

February:

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze

March:

Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, this would mark the one year anniversary for the 3DS version.

April:

Mario Kart 8

May:

Going with Newegg's rumored release date, Smash Bros for May

June:

My first made up game, WaveRace from Next Level which would go perfect with Summer.

July:

My second made up game, a Pokemon Stadium type game.Give people who bought X&Y to get the Wii U with good online and connectivity.

August:

Yoshi's Epic Yarn

September:

Monster Hunter 4U, this could come out earlier and make the one year anniversary with Dark Moon. September is usually a low key month, seems like the perfect time for Bayonetta 2.

October:

The third Sonic exclusive and Monolith Soft's X

and November:

the Legend of Zelda

I don't think we'll be seeing another Legend of Zelda next year, so soon after WW: HD and A Link between Worlds but needless to say everyone will be happy if it happens. I hope Yoshi Yarn comes earlier, out of all games you mentioned it was probably announced before them and still there are only very few details available.

Good games, but only a game a month? My wallet breathes easy, but that's a pretty sad line-up.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

He's talking Nintendo only. A game a month from ONE company is just excellent. Look at the 3DS this past year for more proof. We're getting call of duty this December. We'll be getting smash X and bayonetta 2 all in one year. Plus mariokart and donkey kong. That's an excellent first party line up. Probably the best or close to the best any one company in the industry can pull off.

If ou want to complain talk about third party support. Next year Nintendo will actually be great. Shame this year has to pay the price.

I agree with this.  Mario Kart and Donkey Kong will probably be fun.

Regarding Super Smash Brothers - I have never played the game and don't really feel inclined to get excited.  I think the fact many people on this page pee all over themselves about the game, or bash anyone who voices otherwise, has made it a game I can't be bothered with.

I don't think we'll be seeing Zelda or Animal Crossing next year. Probably 2015 at the earliest. The Luigi's Mansion port is kinda iffy, I doubt they'd remake a year old game. Wave Race doesn't seem possible either, considering it's been dormant since the GameCube days. Everything else seems right.
