I think it's kinda annoying that Nintendo locked the Wii. I've always wanted to play Xenoblade, and now I can't. Plus, sometimes the Japanese versions of games are better, and I want to play that version. Bottom line, I hate that they implemented that. What's your opinion?

It is annoying, but when you compare prices between regions and realize that Nintendo of Europe/Australia/America/Japan, each have to earn a certain amount of money, you realize as to just why it's there...

I kinda dislike it too, but i normally do not have enough money to but imports, and it may steal business away from the localized ones.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

I think they're doing that for the money. So die-hard Ninty fans will buy 1 NTSC/U Wii, 1 PAL Wii, and 1 NTSC/J Wii just for more games to open up to them.

You could've waited for them to release an NA version (Trust me, they're going to make it), but I understand your decision.

Eh... If I could afford a WiiU, I'd be pissed. I would personally resort to hacking my wii and either buying the foreign game or burning the ISO.

The Wii takes 10 minutes to hack.

Not enticing hacking it, just saying that if you aren't completely satisfied with what your country gets, then there is that option.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

:o!!! TRAITOOOORRR!!! ... it seems as though everyones doing that now though :( besides, I thought you could only get the ISOs on homebrew, n theyre not very good quality apparently :P
I think it is stupid that they locked it :( I think Nintendo of EU/USA/JPN/AUS should just, like, share the money XD they actually should, then everyone would be happy ;)

    LINK <3

Its unfair, there's fighting games I want to get that only sold in Japan and it unfair (even I get the game) the Wii won't let me play it.

Another note. When Brawl came out in America, I bought it online. 2 weeks later I had it, later updated my Wii... Couldn't play it again. It was so stupid to have region lock on the Wii cause I had to buy another Brawl game (lucky my cousion told me bout ozgameshop and I got the game for $30)

I got annoyed, so I homebrewed it (not to pirate mind you) and am about to import Xenoblade from Europe pretty soon.

WHAT!?!? How did you get Hombrew. I tried doing that, but it didn't work. What your secret? Please tell how you got it
