Hello WiiU members ;)!

Since i'm a big fan of e-sport and the newly born genre MOBA,i would like to introduce Heroes of Newerth. I started out with Heroes of Newerth during it's closed beta days (2 years ago) and i'm still playing it today.
If you haven't played a MOBA game before then i have a summary here for you:

"The objective of the MOBA Genre is for each team to destroy the opponents' Base, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.

Each human player must control one Hero, a powerful unit with unique abilities. In DotA-Allstars, players on each side choose one of ninety-five heroes, each with different abilities and tactical advantages over other heroes. The scenario is highly team-oriented; it is difficult for one player to carry the team to victory alone. Nevertheless, some heroes, given enough time, can change the outcome single-handedly, while countering the opposing team's heroes."

the MOBA genre has grown rapidly the last 1.5 year with the games League of Legends, Heroes of newerth becomes alot more popular.

So if you like a VERY team-oriented game, you shall try out Heroes of Newerth ;) but beware of the long/hard learning curve. It really takes time to get into it.

That's what i got to say so what's your opinion on Heroes of Newerth or any of the other MOBA?

So it's like TF2 but not a shooter

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Well i've never played TF2 so i cant compare. ^^ If you have played DotA from Warcraft 3 custom games then they are almost identical.
