Wii U pretty much deserves the direct this month, that's at least what I was expecting. Not the system practically outselling everyone weekly. 

 

The deletion of SwapNote pretty much confirms Miiverse 3D. Then again it's gonna be hard for Nintendo to soften up regarding social features due to what happened. 

 

I agree, at least MiiVerse is admin'd regularly and forcefully in a sense. Some think it is too strict but let common sense prevail.

They always say this, I still bet we'll get some Wii U info. It's just that the main focus is 3DS. And so close to the holidays (SM3DW, Blck Fri, Christmas, Others) why arn't they sharing stuff about the wii U? Nintendo puzzles me.

I think the Wii U bit will be about Wii U`s holidays titles, just no talk on what`s coming in 2014.
And with Nintendo doing that with 3DS, they are probably saving the limelight on a December ND, for Wii U! At least i hope so!

Yes, and one direct isn't going to make any difference to the Wii U. Just because you have one thing doing well and the other not doesn't mean you stop supporting either of them. Fact is the Wii U has WAY more huge things in the pipe than the 3DS. 

 

I'm placing my bet that the 3DS line is going to be the highest selling gaming system this holiday season so it's smart for Nintendo to give it some hype.

And really what is a ND going to do for the consumer market? If you know about and watch ND's you likley already know one and own one and know its pipeline.
