You have to keep on constantly coming back to it. pretty much every time you beat a boss you have to go back into the temple's dungeon in order to get a bloody map or something. And all of the traps and puzzles reset every time!

Not to mention the time limit kind of sucks...

I gave up on phantom hourglass for this very reason. That temple just isn't fun.

Look up any review of Phantom Hourglass,  literally any review, and the number one complaint will be that place.  It sucks, but you gotta do it.  Personally I think Linebeck makes up for it, but different tastes.  Don't let it turn you away from Spirit Tracks though.  That game fixes pretty much every issue from PH and adds a few things.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to getting Spirit Tracks, and I've set up alerts on ebay on Kijiji in case it pops up with an impulse-purchase price.

Aside from the repetitiveness of this temple, it is really awesome. I had just finished Wind Waker HD so it was kind of fun to essentially jump straight into the next game in the zelda timeline.

At some point you CAN skip straight to later portions where you last left off, although i recall going back anyways to use the later items to clear up more time... Man did i HATE having to do that circle triangle square puzzle a bazzillion times.

The best part of that Temple is going through all of it at the end of the game when you can kill the Phantoms (they scared the rainbow out of me when I played it for the first time) and you just speedrun for Treasure. Everything else ranged from ok to bad. Except the puzzle that made you close the DS. That was awesome.

I'm pretty sure everyone was, but that was the genius behind it. It's so simple, yet you works never think of it.

It means you can think outside of the box. The fact that there was an icon to bring out the sea chart tipped me off.

I'm not. That was a really clever puzzle that 90% of the people who played it didn't get. If you got it by yourself good for you.

Honestly, would it have killed to allow me to skip immediately to the new sections? like have an elevator that goes all the way from the top to the bottom, with you just having to unblock further depths?

I seem to recall it having precisely that, but your time to that point stays the same, and if you want more time, you have to go from the beginning and do things faster.

I dont recall precisely WHEN it starts letting you skip, i just remember it does.... But not before i had to do that stupid triangle circle square puzzle a bajjilion times.

I think it let you skip the forst 6 floors after you get the third Sea Chart, or whenever you get to the other room on the 6th floor.
