Me too. I didn't see the need to get one during launch- but thought it was cool and was intrigued enough to follow it vicariously through articles and watching for new titles. Took the plunge in April- I was fairly impressed with NintendoLand but a little disappointed in NSMBU- tho it has grown on me since. As I've picked up more titles, the system grew on me.
While the Wii U might be missing out on some of the bigger, more popular games, it still has a pretty decent selection. There's 114 retail titles- I have, or will have soon 23 of them and among those, there's really not a bad game.
I wish more in the media- tho there are some- who see the value proposition behind the Wii U. You get some truly unique games- if you had a Wii, you can still play your old ones, if you missed the Wii, you have access to a pretty big library of games. With the new Mario game, it's possibly the game of the year on any system. Plus for the same price as a PS4, you get 3-4 games, depending on the bundle and the games you chose, not to mention online play.
I've seen maybe one or two other articles like this: http://www.businessi...box-one-2013-11
