Uk, John lewis has white 8gb with 2D Mario for £149 delivered.
At this price I didn't even think about it seeing as our black one is in demand...

My question is- can I copy any save game data between the two?

in the end its all the same. If you download alot of games your need a harddrive with the 32gb anyways so it just becomes color choice.

 

But on the copying saves i do not know. 

I know you can copy it to the sd card ( only some games tho. i was never able to copy all the saves with the wii due to some being lock)

 

But i have not copied from one wii u to another wii u so i am unsure if it will let you.

I believe if the game isnt lock as a cant copy then it should work just fine.

I don't think you can. Your Nintendo ID is permanently locked to one Wii U, and I believe the Wii U wipes the hard drive if it's not recognized.

I know I'm going to need two Nintendo id, would just be handy if saves can be moved.

I'm also hoping white don't show all the finger prints like black because I'm forever cleaning the game pad lol.

I bought a White Wii U because it was cheap (200$) and a month later i got 128gb usb disk hoping GTA V gets released on Wii U

John lewis refunded me without even stating why,turns out they never had stock!

So I bought another premium for £199 and sold Nintendo land for £20. After owning ZombiU for nearly a year I'm finally working through it :-)
