I believe I'm on the last world, so I'll chime in with my thoughts.
I felt that the controls were fairly tight this time, or at the very least, I'm having a much easier time controlling the double jump then I did in colors. Some of the color powers don't seem to cooperate with me though.
If I have any complaints, its with the level design. There are many cases where something just happens with no warning, causing you to stop, get hurt, or die. The best example that comes to mind is with those mech dragons suddenly shooting lasers. I wasn't exactly looking at them, but I didn't expect the level to start shooting at me. There were a number of times where something in the level would suddenly do something, and I had no real warning it was going to do that. Just annoying junk.
The other problem I noticed is sometimes the game was really unclear on what it wanted from me. Take the second battle with the red guy (Don't know their names off hand). I kept kicking then hitting him on the left side of the screen, and nothing was happening. Well it turns out I was supposed to back him up and stand there, apparently letting the homing attack charge up, allowing me to hit him off.
I have also had some glitches I think. Most noticeable being in the first fight with the red guy. You're supposed to use the homing attack to go up his mech, but after 6 hits it just stops. I have to land on a square part of the mech, then start jumping and home attack again. What I really consider odd is that you can only land on the cubes and not the spheres, even though both are large enough to stand on.
Now none of these were ever present or game-breaking, but the combination hurt the game for me. There was a handful of levels I enjoyed playing, but only a handful. The game certainly looked nice too. Overall, I'd probably give it a 7/10.
