Im in need of a new controller and im jumping between the regular Wii U Pro Controller, and then the one from Gioteck called GC-2.

The reason for this is simply because of the analog sticks. The Gioteck one has them placed in similar style to the Xbox 360 of which I like, I dont really see the point of the layout from Nintendos, but then again I havent tried it.

Would love to hear from ppl who are happy/unhappy with Nintendos Pro Controller.

I'm happy with it. The layout of the analog sticks doesn't bother me. It's just like the Wii U gamepad, seems too big at first but then you realize how comfortable it actually is. I think it's just the look. You eventually realize how natural it is.

As a guy whose favorite controller is the 360 one, the Wii U Pro wasn't bad at all. It's very comfortable and the placement of the sticks doesn't really bother.

Got one for christmas, ain't going to use it much myself as it will be for multiplayer. Atleast until Smash. But yeah, it's super awsome imo and tbh my experience with 3th party controlers is that they break after 5-6 weeks.

I love mine. As another who likes the Xbox's controllers best, they did a really nice job with the Pro controller.

The sticks make a lot of noise, but so did my 360 controller's left(maybe right) stick, so not really something I care about, but it would've been a better product with gyros and mics and camera in it etc. thought probably a lot more expensive, like a 360 x1 ps3 or p4 controller are without any of that stuff.

It replaced my 360 controller as my fave modern controller ever. Some may not like the digital triggers tho but I love them. Everything feels so right. I thought the analog oth at the top would be hard to get used to but after a couple hours it became more natural fro me than the 360 placement.  Really love it.

Thanks for all the replies. The reason I also considered the GC-2 is because of the pricetag. I must admit im quite surprised about the pricetag of Nintendo Controllers, its more or less ridiculous.

The U Pro controller + Mario 3D World here would cost me around $166.

I have big hands and just find it really small for some reason. I prefer the gamepad for all my gaming I usually don't used any other remote unless its requires like the wiimote.

The Wii U Pro Controller is one of the best controllers I've used.

The analog sticks are in a good place as far as I'm concerned, I like the triggers, the controller is comfortable, the battery life is incredibly long I have owned one for the past two months and have charged it up once.

It's definitely worth getting as far as I'm concerned.

Haha, I agree. Now when I play other systems I tell myself that their controllers are weird.
