Zelda: A Link Between Worlds starts out somewhat similar to A Link to the Past and develops into its own game. Once again, you have a Dark World, which is something that I loved in A Link to the Past.
A Link Between Worlds has the best storyline of any Zelda game. Unfortunately, most of it isn't told until the end. Add to that that the game's 11 dungeons are sized just right, and you have one of the finest Zelda games ever created. Had this game had full 3D worlds like Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask and was less short than its approximate 17-18 hours or so of gameplay, it would be the best Zelda game ever created. This is still the finest game I have played in years, and shows that Nintendo's game-making skills hasn't necessarily become any worse over the years.
My score: 11/10
