There's nothing wrong with origin. Well... hopefully this "beta" wont end up being 4 days long like the Elder Scrolls Online beta was lol

It's an alpha, not a beta.
how is it still in alpha when it's like a couple of months away from release, shouldn't they be finishing it up and getting it ready for distribution?

Betas are usually a week or two before release. Alphas, like this, are months away.

That's actually not true, I do a heap of beta testing for Sony and some of the beta tests are literally months and months before release.

Hopefully this game works and doesn't have monumental problems like BF4, if it does work as intended, I'll definitely be picking this up for my PC.

Better not be alpha. With less than two months before launch.It's an alpha, not a beta.
It's a load/glitch test. And most likely to test live load against servers so they can adjust and have a smooth launch (ie:no bf4 issues)...
Ign is calling it an alpha test in spite of what gamespot calls it.
Meanwhile respawn says it's neither. Just a technical test that they need live players for.
