I'd never sell my Wii U or a Nintendo console and miss out on memorable times with characters like this:

though in hinsight, it would have been better to wait till games got launched.

Zombi U, New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, AC III, Sonic Racing, + lego city later on. I was way good till the next christmas.

True enough I might have saved 20 or 30 euro, but NSMBU and the other games I got near launch were great.

I actually didn't get my copies of nsmbu or zombiu until a few months later due to shipping failure, trine 2 kept me playing for about 70 hours though.

I also got mine on launch, I didnt even have to stand in line....living in Kodiak, Alaska can have some nice benefits, such as no one here even knew what a wii u was..not even the sales reps at wal-mart.  I had it pre-ordered then walked in right, and walked right out...10 mins tops!!! lol.  I will never sell the wii u either.

I saved up for mine last fall and finally got it last December. Best purchase ever. Wii U forever

Bought mine at launch as well.  While I'm still not a fan of the retailer who i bought it from(despite them cancelling my preorder), I'll not fault the system for choosing retailers with as sorted systems as some walmarts (apart from Kodiak AL apparently.  Glad you had a better experience 'cus mine was a nightmare!)

 

Walked out of that store and over to my gamestop for Call of Duty: BO2, 'N'SMBU, Ninja Gaiden 3:RE, Madden13 and Assassin's Creed 3.  Certainly kept me busy and occupied.  While I probably could have waited 'til maybe Christmas time of 2012 for the system and most of those games...  I'm kind of a CoD addict and felt I needed to be playing that Day 1 with a big group of adult guys and gals I knew were sliding over from the Wii.  Still glad I did despite the anti-hype of the interwebs.  Can't wait as I know even more from our group will be slidin' on over to U's with the drop of MK8!

Bought mine very close to Chirstmas 2013 and opened it Christmas day. Was actually the last one in the mall as well :)
