That's right. We had one for the Wii, so why not one for the DS? The rules are the same, so here we go! We'll go until we have 25 games, and each game must have 3 votes to go on the list. You can only nomiate 3 games, with reasoning for each. There will also be various catergories for the games, such as Puzzle/Rythym/FPS/Adventure/Action/RPG

NOMINEE LIST:
Radiant Historia

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.

In my honest opinion, this is probably the best puzzle game for the DS, and the best in the Professor Layton series so far. Memorable cast, great voice acting, and a downright beautiful art style. Can't go wrong here.

Radiant Historia.

This RPG is probably one of the best since Chrono Trigger. From the beautiful music to the amazing landscape and character sprites, Radiant Historia has yet to disappoint me. The gameplay style is also very unique.

Rhythm Heaven.

This is simply one of the strangest games I've played...and it's amazing. It's a very quirky rhythm game (as the name implies) and is simply very fun to play through its multiple minigames. It's a challenge throughout too, although a very fun challenge. Simply can't go wrong with this game.

Shame I could only pick 3...I have so many others I could nominate. :3

Nice, with this I can secretly add DS games on my to-buy-when-I-feel-like (and-have-money) list.

I'll share once I have 3 unless I can just do one at a time (till I reach 3 )

Radiant Historia. Seriously, was there ever any doubt I would mention this game here? It's too epic not to be mentioned.
Anyway, music is beautiful, graphics are perfectly suited for the theme of the game... Although some characters looked odd. (I'm looking at you, Marco)
Story is as interesting as a story can get and gameplay is an evolution to classic RPG's. (I'm not cut out to be a reviewer, lol)

Professor layton and the curious village.
Aside from unique gameplay, Professor layton had an art style that perfectly suited it, not to mention the music that was just superb.

Phoenix Wright: Ace attorney.
Come on, who doesn't love to scream "Objection!"?

Pokemon Platinum: My favorite Pokemon game on the DS. The overall amount of content in the game made it one of my most played DS games.

Phantom Hourglass: While it wasn't the greatest Zelda game ever, it made great use of the touch screen, and was overall a very great game.

Spectrobes Beyond the Portals: This was one of my all-time favorite games a few years back. It's the sequel to the game Spectrobes(also on the DS). In concept, it draws some inspiration from Pokemon. You travel around the galaxy with a team of six creatures known as Spectrobes, and battle a species of aliens known as the Krawl. Battle scenes start when you enter the dark vortexes that the Krawl live in. You send in two Spectrobes at a time to battle, while the remaining four in your party serve a support role by giving the two battling a stat boost. You also fight weaker krawl outside of battle scenes using a weapon of your choice. To gain new Spectrobes, you have to dig up Spectrobe fossils. You find them by using a young Spectrobe(known as a child form) to find them. To bring the fossils back to life, you have to take them to your ship, access the computer terminal in the cargo room, then use the DS's mic to awaken them. To do this you have to ajust the volume of your voice to were the range fits inside a set of brackets, and hold it there for three seconds(you can just blow into it if you want). the fossils that you awaken will automatically be in child form when you revive them, and will have to be trained inside of what is known as the incubator inorder to level them up to where they will evolve. You can also find minerals using child forms that you can use to give them experience points and help level them up inside the incubator. once they evolve into adult form, you can use them in battle, in which they also gain experience points. You can also evolve them past that into what is known as Evolved form, which is basically a more powerful version of the adult form. it sounds a little nerdy when you first hear about it, but I think it's a really addictive game, and a worthy addition to the DS library.

Man that last one was longer than I thought it would be. lol

Professor Layton and the Lost Future - The best Professor Layton game so far, IMO. It has a nice art style, a decent story and lots of great puzzles.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness - I liked the idea of playing as a pokemon and it was very fun to play.

Mario Kart DS - The best racing game to be made for the DS as far as I'm concerned. The graphics were very good for the DS and it never seems to get boring.

So is this for all time best game for the DS? Hm... lemme see, I didn't really play many of the DS games unless they were interesting so my Nominations will be

The World Ends With You quite the interesting RPG, I liked the battle system and the story was alright.

I guess I'll also Nominate Radiant Historia, (Just beat it today, quite the long boss battle) Sort of the same as the
above, it also had quite an interesting battle system. Aht and Gafka are awesome too, Dunno why but I love those two.

.. Hm... And how about Mario&Luigi's: Bowser's inside story. This is the only Mario&Luigi RPG I've almost played to completion but quit outside the boss battle. I dunno why haven't finished but things just kinda got hectic when I got it and I haven't gotten around to finishing it.

Pokemon White (does black count too?): My favourtie game on my DS. Its 3D style was amazing.
The Legend of Zelda : Spirit Tracks: Easily one of my best adventures on my DS. My pokemon adventures were good, but not as good as this adventure,
Mario Kart DS: Fun racing game. That's all the descripition I've got.
