DK Tropical Freeze (my Wii U has been on for the last 4 hours playing this)

Darksiders 2

Can only name two.  Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and 3D world (not great, but okay. Would have liked a proper 3d game like 64, sunshine, galaxy..)

 

Every other game I have fail to keep me interested or there are issues.

 

I gave up with windwaker after the tower of the gods.  Got really boring, but that's because I played it countless times on the gamecube (only have myself to blame for boredom)

I sold my assassins creed black flag because framerate was haywire, a consistent 30 would have been okay, but dropping below that all the time is horrible (Not sure if my wii u has issues or wii u has a gimped version of the game).  Got the PC version and continue to enjoy the game.

 

My other games are not even worth mentioning.  Only the above were notable.

I never noticed any framerate issues with AC4 and it is praised as a good port around the internet as far as im aware. It may be worth looking into possible issues with your wii u.

The fourth is Nintendo land, but Ihaven't played that seriously yet, so I don't want to compare it to the others yet.

I guess I'll necro this thread.

 

After about 2 years of Wii U my top 5 games in terms of what I've gotten the most enjoyment out of is -

 

1. Zombi U

2. CoD: BO2

3. Orochi Warriors

4. DK: Tropical Freeze

5. Wii Fit U

 

For me Zombi U was the definition of what a great Wii U game should be. It might be the only game released that actually focuses on and harnesses the potential of the gamepad. Amazing immersive experience.

 

BO2 and Orochi Warriors are not exclusive but I've been so addicted to both - these are my stress reliever games. 

 

DKTF was too short but very challenging and the prettiest platformer I've ever played.

 

Wii Fit U is great for burning off stress, I use it all the time on days I just want to burn off some energy but can't make it to the gym.
