Hey guys, thought we might as well start to have a topic on this as the year begins to wind down. Here is the place to the post your favorite underrated games of 2011. I'll start with a few of my favorites, in chronology of Release date.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

This game is a puzzle game, made by the creator of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The game is what you'd expect from Shu Takumi, with crazy characters, ridiculous situations, a captivating story, and a dog named Missile (Kudos if you get the reference). A demo is available on Nintendo Channel

Radiant Historia

If you enjoy RPG's at all, then I highly recomend that you pick up Radiant Historia. The game is very much like Chrono Trigger, but RH has more time period's, a more interesting plot, and one of the most unique battle systems I've ever experienced.

Okamiden

Okamiden is the sequel to the cult hit Okami, where players took on the roll of a god trying to restore the land .Okamiden picks up 9 months later and has the players take on the role of the child of the god who restored land. Defintely worth checking out in more detail via the demo on the Nintendo Channel.

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Well, you all knew this was coming, didn't you?

Bastion:

Bastion is a downloadable PC and Xbox 360 (also downloadable game)

The scores in the game are just amazing and the story and game itself are great too. (It's in the list of best indepent game of the year, in for 2 of best composed themes and for best OST for downloadable game)

"This indie game darling is a wonderful ramble through the colorful, fractured world of Caelondia after the "calamity" broke the world into parts. The wonderful art style, music and sound mesh perfectly to create the sort of game that lingers with the player long after they have stopped playing. The button-mashing gameplay is simple, but fun and baked with surprisingly deep weapons and character upgrade systems."

The difficult is nice too and there's some gut-wrenching decisions in the game that are truly difficult.

I recommend this game to anybody who likes RPG's with a fleshed out story, nice combat system and wondering what will happen next.

Watch it till 2:35. If you watch again at 4:40 you can see him say how it's better than the other game he reviews :P (Well, he prefers Bastion)
