Actually looks kind of cool in an 8 bit/ 16 bit kind of way. And the zenonia style spliced static art looks good too. Nice promotional design as well.
But I'm looking for modern level gaming.
Hope these guys find their audience though. $5,000 isn't a ton if money. Hope they get what they need.

This looks worse than something you could make in RPG maker.
I disagree, because as someone who has tinkered with the program (but mostly use it now to listen to music at different pitches), those character portrait arts, landscape designs and sprites in their promotion page are DIRECTLY TAKEN from RPG Maker. I could take a screenshot right now of my half assed tinkers from my college days and you'd instantly recognise so much of it.
Mahmood hasn't lost any money because he's probably the guy running it, and it is scam tier to be honest.
