I think you'll find some of the later worlds and secret levels to be an absolute blast

What are you even talking about?
I played the demo when i was picking up the pro controller, so clearly the rest of the game will be just as easy
But seriously, i did actually play it a while ago when I went to pick up my pro controller, and it was pretty fun. Between this review (and other good ones) and the demo I'll probably pick it up soon
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
LISTEN AND BELIEVE

Excellent review, I agree with you on a lot of points. The only big flaw with the game is its length, I was expecting 8 worlds and was super dissapointed when the game ended after I beat the 6th world boss. I was also annoyed by lack of character balance (Dixie is overpowered) and lack of anything new except for updated graphics but overall I really enjoyed the game and the developers did a great job.

Well, we always want more now, don't we?
Great review - really enjoyed this.
Glad you liked it!

Well it's not wanting "more", it's wanting the same amount of gaming for my $ as last time. I personally am getting frustrated with Nintendo continuing to make its games shorter and shorter. DKC Returns was 8 worlds, with DKCTF we only got 6 yet were still charged $50.

Breaking news, they don't base the game price off of the amount of levels. It could have been $59.99 like just about every other AAA Nintendo title... you would of had a heart attack.
They left you wanting more, which is exactly the way every game should be. Instead we get countless titles by other devs adding filler and other nonsense as to try and justify it's worthiness.

That's the thing, and the guy above me said it: they were fair enough to drop it $10. Nintendo really could have just left the price as is, but being the least greedy of basically the entire gaming industry, they went ahead and just lowered the price knowing they were delivering a little less content than DKCR. Then again, DKC:TF really was enjoyable, and I would bet a far greater majority would agree that it was $50 well spent, lol...
And then AGAIN, for all we know, a threequel could be in the works!
