I hope it is FF VII as I am yet to play it. I think that it is more likely to be Dragon Quest VII in which case I would be somewhat disappointed as I'm not a DQ fan. But if Square Enix decides to make the FF HD collection and puts it on Wii U that would more than make up for not playing FF VII on 3DS. Just so long as I get to play it.

Well I finally took the five seconds to look up what the J in JRPG stands for. I totally never would have figured that out on my own. Anyway, I might be interested in playing a Final Fantasy game. It seems to be a rather popular series. I should really look into it.

I would suggest Final Fantasy XIII (X360 or PS3) or, if you want it for a handheld, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (thats on DS and Wii).

Still, I think it's going to be Threads of Fate 3D Dragon Quest VII.
I believe Final Fantasy VII was made for Sony (some legal shizzizz about FF7-12, minues 11), so I just have this massive bowl of doubt for it being 3D-ified.

Sony doesn't own FFVII, Square does. And they've done stuff similar to this idea before hand

Yeah, I know, it's a pretty awesome game to me.
I think I suggested in the Wii U 'Chieves/Trophies thread that Wii U Medals should be shown in a Crystarium sort of scene. Just for display appeals and all that. Would be pretty cool.

@N: I don't think this has to do with direct rights, but rather exclusivity deals. Basically, the chances of FFVII ever being released out of Sony's department are like 0.00000000000000064728461%, or as trolls call it, "Not happening cuz, get over it bro."

I mean, it could happen... if you had a time machine.
