So what's the deal?  Is a Wii U version of Bayonetta going to come out before the sequel?  Are there even any rumors?

I'm not the best button-masher-action game player but I'm committed to getting B2 and don't like to jump into stories mid-way.  Thoughts?  Amazon has it on PS3 for $18 but I'd rather support a Wii U version.

Wii U remake is not going to happen.... wouldnt be surprised if bayo2 is platnium last game on Wii U they will probably move on to ps4 or xb1... so get the ps3 version.... not sure if you have a 360 but that version is said the have the better framrate and playability.

Eh never was a rumor.  Just that PG would like to, Also fans were trying to do an Operation Rainfall type deal to get PG to port it.

As for the first. Whatever you do NEVER buy it on PS3. It's so damn buthered it's unreal. Get it on 360. PS3 version visually looks like mudd and severe framrate issues. In a game like Bayonetta high consistent framerate is needed to playing the game.

I see.  Thanks for the responses.

Unfortunately (fortunately?) I don't own a 360...so...

I read there was a patch on the PS3 version that helped with framerate and loading times?

I've played it recently on PS3, and there aren't issues with it anymore. It runs fairly smooth, with the exception of the opening fight, so I would just pull the trigger on a PS3 copy.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

No.

Hard to patch a full game sucking. Visually so much is missing like alot of lighting and details on the character and areas.  360 was at 60FPS and PS3 was 30 and below. Everythingon the PS3 version has this brownish haze to it as well.
