So something struck me the other day when using the Wii U, it could do point and click games great. Not sure how much of a market there is for the good old Graphic Adventure games of old like the Myst series or some of the SCUMM games from Lucas Arts but I would love to see them ported over or at least some new entries in that genre. Then again I am probably showing my age when I admit I still own Myst on CD! (a huge thing at that time btw). I know the newer Sam and Max games hit the Wii but never picked them up since I had them on PC so not sure how they did on the Wii but I would think that the Gamepad would lend itself better to that type of game then joystick or motion control of the Wii controller.

The Pikmin mini game in Nintendoland allows this type of control mechanics in one player gameplay, at least sort of. Well, it uses the stylus a LOT. But I know the feeling of the games you mean and my reference is very different as it's more action compared to exploration and adventure.
I think the point and click in games like Myst would work interestingly well. Games with a police or detective theme (Police Quest) would also suit point and click well for finding clues and examining the crime scene. I think it would be neat to also have some sort of surgical game that could utilize the gamepad and stylus.

Can't wait to play a port of Spy Fox in "Dry Cereal".
