If xbox one and ps4 get backwards compatibility , what if we can play (for example) 2 xbox 360 games at the same time or two ps3 games at the same time on Xbox One/PS4. like split screen or 2 separate displays.

Do you think that feature might work ?

I think that would be a very large resource hog.

Neat idea, just not sure how well it would work. :o

why would you want to? That's dumb unless you have 4 lobes of the brain,4 eyes that can move independent of one another and four arms.

Or hell have a conjoined twin.

Also why would any one play with a friend if not playing the same game together.

Unless you are a mutant/alien never going to happen.

what if you have 1 TV and 1 ps4/xbox one and you and your brother want to play 2 different xbox 360/ps3 games then this might work.

I think he's suggesting something somewhat similar to what the Wii U has going. One person could use the TV, the other could use the gamepad.

I like the idea in theory, anyway.

I know many gamers have gone full ADD but if they need two game sat the same time. That's addiction and need help. Forgetting the human factor. maybe possible but you would be playing those games in 240p and 10 frames per second practically.

Mood. No one has 1 TV anymore it's not 1962. If you own a console you likely own more than one TV and a PC in which you can hook up HDMI to the monitor. Even if the monitor does not have HDMI probably get a adapter. If you really do not have a second TV. Go to any big box store shell out 150$ and get a 24 incher. If that is to rich then head down to goodwill take out 20$ get a CRT and use composite. There is seriously no point to this.

I know you are trying to have some grand idea but many good reasons why this has never been done and likely not happen..then again I never thought I'd see the day when a new gen launched and every game hyped is a port of last gen games at full price. So who knows anymore.

i respect your point , my idea came up when i was in america , we were allowed to use only 1TV for entertainment and me and my cousin wanted to play 2 separate games (skyrim and Fifa ) and we had only one TV , so i thought about what would happen  if next gen consoles allowed us to play 2 last gen games at the same time.

Do you get my point?

With two separate controllers?
I don't think anyone would realistically want that, and if they do, would never use it in reality apart from the first month.
