Personally I prefer takeout to what I could make myself which is usually only things you can put in the microwave. My mom isn't exactly a graduate from Le Cordon Bleu either so she doesn't normally make anything extravagant but then again most of us are easily pleased with things like Pogos, Pizza Pockets and some buffalo wings. My step father cooks sometimes and he likes to think he's a good cook I suppose but I'm not a fan of complicated meals with spices and onions and all the trimmings and whatnot. I like my food simple and fast. Hence the reason I love me some takeout.
Maybe it be different if my parents or I were good at cooking but I doubt it. My grandparents are pretty good and they make a lot of dishes from their home country and stuff and they love to bring us over things but It's still doesn't compare to what I can buy at a fast food joint, but maybe that's just me.
I know a lot of people think Fast food tastes like crap but I honestly wonder where they're eating but then again it's all different opinions and whatnot. Anyways I'd like to see what you guys think...

It varies since a lot of the food I eat is Nigerian, I have no way to get take out for it. But it is nice whenever we order take out. But I started college I started doing take out more often.

Well my cooking is awesome me having an Asian father he teaches me how to cook things like fried rice and other things that are just awesome. Home cooking is also faster and cheeper not to mention healthier so that is why I prefer home cooking.

Depends if I'm lazy or not.

Sometimes home cooked isn't as good as take out, so it's a hard decision.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

My mom has a huge book of really good recipes, so I generally prefer home cooked. She also has never messed one of the recipes up!

I really need to learn how to cook. My family is good at cooking, and typically take out isn't the healthiest for you. I like to eat healthy, but I do eat lunch out every day because we can and the lunch food in the cafeteria is not very good. But when I get a chance, I typically eat pretty healthy.

My parents are pretty good at cooking, but I do like take-aways, as long as they're not too frequent. I normally have one take-away every few weeks at home and at school I'll go to the chippy once a week normally.

I preferred home-cooked food over Take-out. It usually tastes better and is cheaper (unless you use expensive ingredients.)

With home-cooked, it's also more personal.

Home cooked, even more so now that I can cook proper meals (by proper meals I mean from scratch and not just out the freezer cooking).

I prefer take out.

I am the typical American.

I want my food, and I want it now.

Not exactly.

Take out is just faster.
