As we all know MK 8  will come with a free download code, and so I want to see what's everyone's intentions and therefore how much of a surplus of codes we will have.

 

Remember that all forms of MK8 - disk, download, or bundle - comes with a free game code. Please check which games will be offered in your region before voting.

I pre-ordered from Newegg because i get a 5$ gift card. Then when my disc copy arrives I get 60 points on Club Nintendo (I got  a bonus 10 for filling out a pre launch survey) When I get my game I will download Pikmin 3 most likely. Because I spent 60$ on Mario Kart 8 I get 5$ back in Eshop for being on ddp. I can get 2 free games or one free one dicounted and then 5$ off whatever at newegg.

 

Not sure where I am going with this. Just that there is ZERO reason NOT to buy MK8 if you have a WiiU and if you do not the perfect time to pick one up. Hell at best buy they gave away free gas money.

I know that of the games available I don't have Pikmin or Wii Party U. I know I definitely want Party U, and while I quit Pikmin 2 once I accidently killed them all ithink I woulddefnately like Pikmin 3 if I gave the series another chance. And as for the reason not to, I suppose some people perfer the disk versions of games and don't want the digital at all.

Just got back from pre-ordering at BestBuy. Gonna use that download code for TWWHD. I would prefer a physical copy, especially for a Zelda game, but it's free, so whatever. As for extra codes, I wouldn't mind another code for Wii Party U. Not like I'm begging or anything. >_>

Although I guess if anybody didn't have use for it, I wouldn't mind a code for Wii Party U.

I may be physical-copy centric, but I can't pass up free.

If someone want to give away go ahead but it doesn't seem likely.

To be fair I probably would pay $20-30 in order to get a code for a $60 game (which then can be used as a discount for the disk version), but it would rely on both parties to trust the other to follow through.

Yeah same here. There is no must have games for me but I want to try some of them. Also get deluxe points I think. It would be nice to kickstart my digital collection.

 

Paypal is nice. Hopefully we can trust. Seems like a nice community.

 

Btw is the offer confirmed to work more than once per user?

I'm planning on getting windwaker, but would definitely wouldn't pass up the chance of getting Pikmin 3 for free. But doesn't look like there's much surplus so I guess WW will have to do :s

When my preoder arrives I'll be using the code for W101 that's the only game on there that I really want. But antoher code would be nice, I guess I'd be using it for NSMB.U
