(Sorry if in wrong sub-forum).
But do you think the Wii U will contain a whole new OS, with a new UI. I mean the Wii's UI in my opinion did get a bit old. I'm also hoping for a more workable OS. I mean the 3DS is able to multitask. Yet the Wii is unable too. I'm hoping the Wii U has the ability to pause games, to check friends lists and go online and that sort of thing. I'm also guessing it'll more than likely incorporate a friend system like the 3DS's. What'd you guys think?

Interesting question I was waiting for a topic like this! I think that it will either build upon the wii channel system for added online support(pausing) or base the os on something completely different that might be cocordinated by 3rd party debs like EA.

The Wii U's OS would be probably a similar to the 3ds or an upgraded Wii UI. There is a chance is chance that it will be an all new UI.

i think it will probably be similar with the wii and 3ds with noticeable improvements. idk why but it seems Nintendo is really into the TV channel like UI

I would guess its because of the natural feel that it gives off plus the ease of use that comes with it..i think it will probably be similar with the wii and 3ds with noticeable improvements. idk why but it seems Nintendo is really into the TV channel like UI

I think that will have Channels too, but similar to X360. Just more HD than before.

No consoles on the market actually support native 1080p hdthe current 360 is to cluttered so hopefully not like that,,and how does one make something more hd? lol
