So with E3 a week away I wanted to see what the consensus was on something that's been brought up a few times before, namely Wii HD collctions. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, it's the idea of Nintendo porting Wii games to the Wii U, bringing them to HD, bundling them together, and then selling them off usually at a less than full retail price. 

 

Nintendo put out some really beautiful looking games this past gen and it'd be nice to see these games running at HD. So what do you ladies and gents think? Is this something they should look in to/pursue? Personally there are definitely some that I would pay money for, namely a Xenoblade HD and a Zelda collection with Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

No. tired of last gen ports. Lazy as crap.

Wii games play on WiiU. So they look a little jaggy you will live. eff all last gen cash grab ports

Depends on the price/if I already have the game.

 

Like...for me, the majority of the HD Collections on the PS3 were godsends as A: I didn't own any of the games and B: They were actually reasonably priced by the time I got around to them.

Only if it's the Galaxy games. Otherwise, stick with GameCube and N64 games. But only if they're of the same caliber as TWWHD and OoT3D.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

I would personally rather have the Nintendo ReUmagined rumour a while back. It could work, but I would rather wait till Wii games arnt playable like next gen.

I want Nintendo to make an HD collection next year for mario's 30th anniversary for all the open world 3D marios.

 

Super mario 64 HD, Super mario sunshine HD, Super mario Galaxy HD, Super mario Galaxy 2 HD.

Between the Wii U's backwards compatibility, and that the Wii games are only last generation anyway, it feels really unnecessary.  Now Gamecube HD collections, that I could get behind.

I'd like it if they would FINALLY bring N64 and gamecube games to the Wii u console, even if they are so-called HD collections.
